Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure Washing Questions

How much does it cost to pressure wash a 2,000 sq ft house?

Angi's 2026 guide puts a 2,000-square-foot house at about $200 to $1,000, or $0.10 to $0.50 per square foot, with a national average around $312. Its nearest Texas figure, for Dallas, is $165 to $375. Stories, stucco texture, heavy staining and access change the price, so we give a written number after seeing the house.

Can you pressure wash in Laredo during water restrictions?

It depends on the stage. Laredo's 2024 Stage 3 rules listed washing driveways, sidewalks and other paved areas as water waste except for fire hazards, and limited vehicle washing to set days and hours. When we checked in October 2026, the Laredo Utilities site listed Stage 2, with no start date given. We check the stage in effect before scheduling and tell you if a job has to wait.

Who do I call about Laredo water restrictions?

Laredo Utilities customer service is 956-727-6402, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the city also lists 311. Their water conservation pages show the current stage and link to the watering schedule.

Is it better to pressure wash or soft wash a stucco house?

Soft wash. Stucco is porous and textured, and high pressure can erode the finish coat, open hairline cracks or push water behind it. A soft wash lets the cleaning solution loosen dirt and growth, followed by a low-pressure rinse.

Can wash water go down the storm drain in Laredo?

Laredo's storm system drains to the Rio Grande, and the city's state stormwater permit requires it to find and eliminate illicit discharges into that system. Soapy water, oil and grime are not stormwater. We keep wash water out of storm inlets by directing it to landscaping, blocking inlets or collecting it.

How often should a house be washed in Laredo?

It depends on the house more than the calendar. Homes near busy roads, construction or open lots collect dust fast, and walls near sprinklers can show mineral spots and mildew. Many owners wash once a year; some do it before a sale or repaint. Water rules can also affect timing.

Do you wash trucks and trailers on site?

Yes. We wash tractors, trailers, box trucks, pickups and vans at your yard on a schedule that fits your dispatch, and we plan for wash water and current water rules at your location. Tell us the number and types of vehicles for a written quote.

House Washing Questions

How much does it cost to wash a house in Laredo?

Angi's 2026 figures run from about $0.10 to $0.50 per square foot, or $200 to $1,000 for a 2,000-square-foot home, with stucco at $0.30 to $0.50 per square foot. HomeGuide puts a typical whole-house wash at $170 to $360. We give a written number after seeing the house.

Is soft washing safe for stucco?

Yes, that is what it is for. Stucco should be cleaned at low pressure, because high pressure can erode the finish and open cracks. We use a soft wash, longer dwell time and a gentle rinse.

Can you remove white sprinkler spots from my walls?

Washing often lightens them, but heavy mineral buildup may not come off completely without treatments that can affect the finish. We look at them at the estimate and tell you what to expect before you approve anything.

Do I need to be home during the house wash?

Not necessarily, as long as we can reach an outdoor spigot, windows are closed and pets are inside. If we use your spigot, the water goes on your Laredo Utilities bill, and we confirm the conservation stage first.

Will washing fix faded paint?

Washing removes dirt, growth and some surface chalk, which often brightens a wall. It cannot restore color the sun has bleached out of the paint itself. If you plan to repaint, a wash is a good first step, since painters want clean, dry walls.

Driveway & Concrete Cleaning Questions

How much does driveway pressure washing cost?

Angi lists most driveway jobs at $100 to $250, or $0.20 to $0.40 per square foot. HomeGuide gives a $100 to $200 flat rate for a typical driveway, with heavy stains that need hand scrubbing at $0.40 to $1.25 per square foot. We quote after seeing the slab.

Can I get my driveway washed during Laredo's water restrictions?

It depends on the stage. Laredo's Stage 3 rules prohibited washing driveways and other paved areas except for fire hazards. We check the current Laredo Utilities stage before scheduling and wait if paved-surface washing is not allowed.

Will pressure washing remove oil stains?

Fresh oil usually comes out with a degreaser and enough dwell time. Old stains that have soaked deep into the concrete often lighten but leave a shadow. We tell you which to expect at the estimate.

Can pressure washing damage concrete?

It can if a narrow tip is held too close, which etches the surface and leaves lines. A rotary surface cleaner keeps the nozzles at a fixed height for even cleaning, and we use the wand carefully on edges and steps.

Roof Soft Washing Questions

How much does roof soft washing cost?

Angi puts roof cleaning at about $450 to $700, or $0.50 to $1.00 per square foot. Fixr lists soft washing at $0.30 to $0.75 per square foot, with a 1,500-square-foot roof averaging about $612. Pitch and access move the price.

Can you pressure wash a tile roof?

You should not. Clay and ceramic tiles can chip or crack under high pressure, and concrete tile can lose its surface. Soft washing removes dirt and growth without that risk.

Will soft washing void my shingle warranty?

It depends on the manufacturer. Some warranties address cleaning directly, and Fixr notes that some may cover professional cleaning. Check your warranty terms before scheduling, and we will follow any cleaning requirements in them.

How often does a roof need cleaning in Laredo?

Many roofs here need it less often than in humid places, because the main buildup is dust rather than heavy algae. Shaded slopes and spots near trees or AC drains can still streak. We can tell you at the estimate whether a wash makes sense now.

Fence & Patio Cleaning Questions

How much does fence cleaning cost?

Angi lists fence cleaning at about $150 to $300. HomeGuide gives $0.30 to $0.50 per square foot, or $180 to $300 for a 6-foot by 100-foot privacy fence. Cleaning both sides or heavy weathering costs more.

Will pressure washing damage my wood fence?

High pressure can raise the grain and cut lines into soft wood. We use low pressure, a wood-safe solution and work with the grain, which cleans without shredding the surface.

Can you clean pavers without washing out the sand?

We use moderate pressure and angle the spray to limit sand loss, but some joint sand usually moves. If the joints need refilling afterward, we tell you and can quote it separately.

When can I stain my fence after cleaning?

Wood has to dry fully first, which can be fast in Laredo heat but depends on shade and the wood. Follow the drying time on your stain's label.

Commercial Pressure Washing Questions

How much does commercial pressure washing cost?

HomeGuide lists basic commercial washing at $0.10 to $0.35 per square foot, building exteriors at $0.15 to $0.90, and parking lots at $8 to $20 per space. Small jobs under 2,000 square feet run about $200 to $500. We quote by area after a site visit.

Can you clean before we open?

Yes. We schedule early morning, evening or weekend work so customers and staff are not walking through wet areas.

Can our parking lot be washed during water restrictions?

Laredo's Stage 3 rules prohibited washing parking areas and other paved surfaces except for fire hazards. We check the current Laredo Utilities stage before scheduling and tell you if lot washing must wait.

Do you offer recurring service?

Yes. Monthly or quarterly schedules work well for restaurant walks, dumpster pads and busy entrances. We set the schedule and price in writing.

Fleet & Truck Washing Questions

How much does it cost to wash a semi truck?

QuoteIQ's 2026 guide lists recurring exterior washes for a semi or trailer at about $40 to $90 per unit, and a full-service wash at $120 to $200. For comparison, Love's lists a drive-through tractor-trailer wash at $69.99. Mobile pricing depends on fleet size and frequency.

Can you wash trucks during Laredo water restrictions?

It depends on the stage and the vehicles. Laredo's Stage 3 rules limited truck and trailer washing to set days and hours, with exceptions for vehicles that must be cleaned often for public health, such as food transport. We check the current stage before scheduling.

Do you wash at night or on weekends?

Yes. We schedule around your dispatch so trucks are washed when they are parked, not when they should be on the road.

Do you handle trailer washouts?

Yes, as an add-on. Tell us what the trailers haul so we can plan the right cleaners and water handling.
