Washing Fleets at the Largest Inland Port in the U.S.
Fleet and truck washing in Laredo serves one of the biggest trucking hubs in the country. Laredo is the largest inland port in the United States, and FreightWaves reported in March 2025 that about 12,000 trailers cross here on an average day. Carriers, brokers' yards, warehouses and local service fleets all run trucks that pick up road film, diesel soot and South Texas dust fast. A clean truck represents your company on the road and makes inspections and damage checks easier.
Mobile washing at your yard
We bring the equipment to where your trucks park. That avoids sending drivers to a wash bay and losing hours of road time. We can wash during off-shift hours, overnight or on weekends, and work around trucks coming and going.
What gets washed
- Tractors: cab, sleeper, fuel tanks, frame rails, wheels and fifth-wheel area as agreed
- Dry vans and reefers: sides, nose, rear doors and undercarriage edges
- Box trucks and straight trucks: body, cab and wheels
- Pickups, vans and service vehicles: exterior wash and wheels
- Trailer interiors: washouts as an add-on where needed
We use cleaners suited to painted and aluminum surfaces and rinse thoroughly so residue does not dull decals or polish.
Water rules for vehicle washing
Laredo's conservation stages restrict vehicle washing. Under the 2024 Stage 3 rules, washing trucks, trailers and other mobile equipment was limited to set days and hours, with exceptions for commercial car washes and for vehicles whose frequent cleaning protects public health, such as garbage trucks and trucks carrying food and perishables. When we checked in October 2026, Laredo Utilities listed Stage 2. We check the stage in effect for your location before setting a schedule.
Wash water at truck yards
Truck wash water carries diesel residue, oil and road grime, and none of it should reach a storm inlet that drains to the Rio Grande. Before the first wash, we look at how your yard drains. Where needed, we block inlets near the wash area, direct water to an approved discharge point, or collect it for proper disposal. If your facility has a stormwater plan, tell us and we will work within it.
Recurring schedules
Most fleets do best on a set schedule: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Recurring service usually costs less per vehicle than a one-time wash, and it keeps every unit at the same standard. We put the schedule, vehicle types and per-unit prices in writing.
What This Covers
Exterior washing for most commercial vehicles, at your location.

Cab, sleeper, tanks, frame and wheels washed on site.
Trailer washing
Dry vans, reefers and flatbeds washed outside, with interior washouts available.
Box truck and van washing
Straight trucks, delivery vans and service vehicles.

How It Works
1. Yard visit
We count units and types, check drainage and water access, and learn your dispatch times.
2. Written schedule
You get per-unit prices, frequency and a water plan in writing.
3. Wash on site
Trucks are washed at your yard during the agreed window.
4. Log and repeat
Units washed are recorded each visit so you know what was done.

Fleet & Truck Washing Questions
How much does it cost to wash a semi truck?
QuoteIQ's 2026 guide lists recurring exterior washes for a semi or trailer at about $40 to $90 per unit, and a full-service wash at $120 to $200. For comparison, Love's lists a drive-through tractor-trailer wash at $69.99. Mobile pricing depends on fleet size and frequency.
Can you wash trucks during Laredo water restrictions?
It depends on the stage and the vehicles. Laredo's Stage 3 rules limited truck and trailer washing to set days and hours, with exceptions for vehicles that must be cleaned often for public health, such as food transport. We check the current stage before scheduling.
Do you wash at night or on weekends?
Yes. We schedule around your dispatch so trucks are washed when they are parked, not when they should be on the road.
Do you handle trailer washouts?
Yes, as an add-on. Tell us what the trailers haul so we can plan the right cleaners and water handling.
